Venus, The Bringer of Peace

"The Horn solo takes you into a world of peace, which nothing seems able to disturb. The violins sing a long song, accompanied by syncopated chords on the Woodwind and Horns. The cool, silvery sound of Flutes, Celesta, Harps, and Strings end the piece."2

"The very picture of beauty and refinement in taste, this is the Venus of ancient Rome: a sprite of gardens and flowers, feminine yet tame and without guile or wiles. This provides the counterpoint to the unshackled violence of Mars."3

Sailor Venus, The Soldier of Love

The sailor soldier into which Aino Minako becomes. She controls the powers love, beauty, and light. The skirt of her sailor soldier uniform is orange and her bows are blue and yellow. She carries a strong chain whip that she uses to perform her attacks.

Aino Minako is a blond, fun-loving girl who is met by the talking white cat Artemis one day at school. She loves to watch television and read comics and she dreams of being an idol singer one day. She is also rather scatter-brained and she often goofs off. She is very boy-crazy and her favorite sport is volleyball.

Moreover, she is sort of a tomboy--she gets into a fight or two in school. When Artemis first finds her, she is in seventh grade and attending Glory Cram School and Shiba Junior High School with her best friend Hikaru. In contrast to her friend Hikaru's good grades at school, Minako does very poorly.
